Scheduling an inbox message

Scheduling an inbox message is fairly straightforward—it can only appear in the user’s inbox if they’re in the qualifying audience. For that reason, scheduling an inbox message just requires you to pick a start and stop time.

After you’ve built the creative for your message, you’ll move onto the Scheduling step.

From the Scheduling page:

  1. To select the start time, select an option from the Begin drop-down list:
    • To start the message at a specific time, select At a scheduled time and then select a date and time. This is a good option if you have time-sensitive messaging (like holiday sales), but you don’t need to manually activate them.

  2. To select the stop time, select an option from the End drop-down list:
    • (Recommended) To stop the message at a time to be decided later, select When manually stopped.
    • To stop the message at a specific time, select At a scheduled time and then select a date and time. This is a good option if you only want your message to appear in your users’ inbox for a certain amount of time. Otherwise, select When manually stopped.
  3. Check the Summary to verify your selections.
  4. When you are done, select Continue and Confirm.
